Have FSA money left this year? Many FSA balances expire at year end. Put yours toward homeopathic care before it's gone.
For US patients

Save about 30% on homeopathic care with your HSA or FSA

Many US patients can pay for their HomeoPath consultations with pre-tax dollars from a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Our partner Flex makes it simple.

In partnership with Flex

What you could save

~30%you could keep in your pocket

HSA and FSA money isn't taxed, so when you pay with it, you skip these taxes:

22%federal income tax
+
7.65%Social Security and Medicare
=
~30%you don't pay

In other words, for every $100 you spend on care, about $30 could stay in your pocket.

One letter covers 12 months of care, including follow-ups.

Assumes the 22% federal income tax bracket and HSA/FSA contributions made through your employer, which also skip payroll taxes. State income tax can add more. Your savings depend on your tax bracket and plan. Flex's consultation fee is separate.

Common questions

Who is eligible?

US patients with an HSA or FSA whose health concern qualifies. A licensed Flex clinician decides this during your online consultation, based on IRS guidelines.

Can my homeopath write the letter?

Only if they're a licensed US healthcare provider. Some HomeoPath practitioners are licensed physicians (MD or DO) and may be able to write your letter. Ask during your consultation. Most homeopaths aren't licensed to do this in the US, so for everyone else, Flex can provide one.

What does the Flex consultation cost?

Flex charges a small fee for the consultation, currently $15, and that fee is itself HSA/FSA eligible. See Flex's page for current pricing.

How long is the letter valid?

A Letter of Medical Necessity is valid for 12 months, so it can cover your follow-up consultations too.

Can I pay with my HSA/FSA card at checkout?

Pay with any card at checkout, then submit your letter and receipt to your HSA or FSA provider for reimbursement.

Should I get the letter before or after booking?

We recommend getting your letter first. Some HSA and FSA providers require the letter to be dated before your purchase.

My FSA balance expires soon. Can I still use it?

Yes, if you get your letter and book before your plan's deadline. Many FSAs expire at year end, though some plans offer a grace period or let you carry over part of your balance. Check with your plan.

I'm in the UK. Does this apply to me?

No. HSAs and FSAs are US accounts, so this only applies to US patients.
